Beringer Vineyards Napa Valley Sbragia Limited Release 2004
Good pale color. Higher-pitched aromas of pineapple and stone. Plump and thick, but given shape and grip by firm-edged acidity. Very ripe flavors are complemented by a wild truffley quality. Finishes bright, firm and very long. This was picked 'at the limit,' noted Sbragia. Aged in 100% new oak, vs. 75% for the 'regular' reserve bottling.
