Chateau Siran Margaux 2005
Good deep red-ruby. Liqueur-like black raspberry and sweet oak on the ripe nose. Rich and classically dry, with flavors of currant, dark chocolate and licorice. I still find the faint green streak I detected last spring but elevage has brought more fat and depth of fruit without loss of freshness. Finishes with good length.

Silky and refined young wine with medium body and lots of berry, licorice and raspberry character. Toasted oak finish. Pretty wine. Score range: 89-91
