Dark ruby-red. Subdued, lightly floral aromas of black raspberry, boysenberry, licorice, mint and spicy oak. Juicy, bright and delineated, with a consistent texture and restrained sweetness. Shows a slight medicinal austerity. Not a particularly rich vintage but finishes with dusty, even tannins and good length.
