Miner Family Vineyards Santa Lucia Highlands Rosella's Vineyard 2005
|
|
Bright, tart-cherry scents are joined by subtle touches of lightly weedy herbacousness in the aromas of this medium-full-bodied Pinot, and, while slightly viscous and fleshy in feel, the wine has a mildly acidy snap to its sweet, cherry-vanilla flavors. There is a bit less heft and density here than has been the norm for Pinots from the Santa Lucia Highlands, and it is one that can be tagged for drinking in the near term.
