Assembled from fourteen tiny parcels, the oldest planted in 1942 and the youngest debuting this vintage, Forey’s Vosne-Romanee displays a gorgeous nose of black cherry, cumin, iris, rowan berry, and sea spray. On the palate, sappy, bright, spice-tinged black cherry fruit makes for a lively impression, while creaminess of texture enhances the sense of richness. Polished and refined in finish. I would plan to enjoy this between 3-7 years of age.
