Mc Manis California 2009
The Cabernet Sauvignon is purple-red in color, with a bright hue. The nose is filled with mocha, chocolate, and caramel - contributed from oak aging. Blackberry and Blueberry fruit is also evident. The round creamy mouthfeel is accompanied by red and black berry fruit flavors. The finish is a long pleasant combination of fruit and oak.

Inexpensive Cabernet Sauvignon is always going to be a difficult proposition in today''''s world, but this somewhat modest effort pulls it off as well as anybody. Its aromas suggest cherries and cassis, and its supple, slightly soft feel is accompanied by clearly evident mid-volume fruit and a hint of dark chocolate. GOOD VALUE
