Dark ruby-colored, it exhibits a spicy, toasty nose of violets, black cherry, and blackberry. Plush and layered on the palate, it has loads of succulent black fruit, enough ripe tannin to evolve for several more years, excellent concentration, and a lengthy, pure finish.
