North and Eastern Italy Collection

North and Eastern Italy Collection The Main Regions Included in the Northern Italy collection are Piemonte and Veneto. Piemonte is renowned for its pursuit of excellence in winemaking. As the first region to recognize the importance of producing wines from individual exceptional vineyards, Piemonte set the benchmark for quality in Italian wine. This collection includes Piemonte's reigning wines Barolo and Barbaresco. The more Northern Eastern region of Italy is Veneto and with its lush, rolling hills, is most often the passed through for a quick visit to Venice. Two of the most famous wines of Veneto are Soave and Amarone della Valpolicella.
