Conveys an impression of concentration and extract perfectly supported by spine. Finishes broad but shapely, with firm tannins and excellent length.

Intense garnet in color with dark ruby relections, Bric Turot ofers deep and complex aromas of cherry, currant, licorice, forest fruits, violets, cinnamon and cloves. Full and well balanced on the palate, with a persistent and velvety inish of ripe fruit. Bric Turot is best enjoyed with roasted or grilled meat, pork chops, veal cutlets with Barbaresco sauce and medium-aged cheeses.

A 100% single-vineyard Nebbiolo grown in the Bric Turot plot in Barbaresco. The low-yielding Bric Turot vineyard is located at 1,300 feet above sea level, beneits from south/southwestern exposure, and produces only 2.5 tons of fruit per acre. The grapes are harvested in mid-October. After fermentation, the wine is aged in a combination of large barrels and second passage barriques for 12 months. After ining, the wine is bottled and aged for an additional 10 months.

This is a breath-taking, extremely complex wine with intense ruby red color and exuberant aromas of blackberries, plum, spice, vanilla and dark chocolate. La Poja is the ideal accompaniment to roasted meat and game. It is excellent with mellow, aged cheeses and a perfect match for dishes made with truffles. One of the most sought-after wines from northern Italy.

An iconic wine made from 100% Corvina Veronese grown in the prestigious, hilltop parcel of La Poja. The unique geographic and climatic conditions of the La Poja parcel, combined with a revolutionary training system, have succeeded in developing the full potential of this varietal. This is the first example in Valpolicella of Corvina Veronese vinified as a single varietal. La Poja was first created by Giovanni Allegrini and originated from his passionate belief in the land on which he lived. Aged 20 months in French barriques and 15 months in bottle for extra refinement.

Garnet red in color with ruby relections. Intense perfume of plums and ripe cherries with loral tones and spices. The wine is very intense on the palate with sweet tannins and a very long inish. Recommended with meat dishes, particularly wild game, and cheeses.

Made from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the prestigious Bussia vineyard in Monforte d’Alba. The grapes were harvested in mid-October. After careful selection, they were crushed and macerated for 12-14 days. 10% of the wine is aged in second time used barriques while the remainder is transferred to large oak barrels for 24 months prior to being blended, bottled and cellared for an additional 12 months. The Bussia has an intense perfume of plums and ripe cherries with loral tones and spices. The wine is very weighty on the palate with sweet tannins and a very long inish.

The 2004 Montevetrano is a knock-out. Endless layers of richly textured dark fruit flows from the glass as this gorgeous wine gradually reveals the depth of its expression. Tar, smoke, menthol, eucalyptus and earthiness emerge with air, adding further complexity as the wine sits in the glass. Gorgeously long and pure - with a finish that lasts forever- this sumptuous wine is not to be missed. Montevetrano is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Aglianico. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2024.
