|
Turriga offers a unique combination of fruit and spice aromas, including plum jam, cherry, rosemary, lavender, tobacco, and hints of eucalyptus. On the palate, Turriga is powerful, supple and round with a massive structure beautifully framed by fine-grained and balanced tannins. The finish is long and spicy. Long-lived, silky and complex, Turriga is the wine that put Sardinia on the wine map. A wine for special occasions and rich fare.
This legendary red was created by the brothers Franco and Giuseppe Argiolas with the support of renowned enologist Giacomo Tachis. A muscular yet elegant blend of 85% Cannonau and 15% Malvasia Nera, Carignano and Bovale Sardo grown in the Turriga vineyard and macerated for 16-18 days in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to fully extract tannins, flavors and color. After fermentation, Turriga is aged in barriques for 18-24 months, allowing for an austere, yet elegant and rich body.

Intense ruby red in color with garnet hues, Corbaia ofers jammy aromas of black currant, cherry, and cassis backed by hints of tobacco, chocolate and cofee. On the palate,Corbaia is supple, opulent and complex with rich texture and chewy tannins nicely integrated in a full, round body. The perfect choice for rich fare such as wild boar, game,steaks, and roast beef. Also excellent with medium-aged cheeses. A massive and elegant Super Tuscan.
This classic blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon was introduced in 1985. To obtain superb inesse and elegance, Corbaia is fermented in wooden barrels and matured in Allier oak barriques for two years. It is also reined for one year in the bottle before release.

Girolamo has a juicy texture backed by a substantial backbone. Serve with rich meat dishes, barbecue, rich risottos, game and medium aged cheeses.”
The muscular Girolamo is a 100% Merlot from vines over 30 years old. After the harvest, the grapes are crushed and the must is fermented in barrel for extra smoothness.
Girolamo is also aged in Allier barriques for approximately two years, to achieve an elegant combination of fruitiness, tannins and body.

Costamiole is an extremely reined and opulent Barbera, ofering a jammy bouquet of ripe plum and cherry backed by intriguing hints of violets, cinnamon, cocoa and
leather. On the palate, the wine’s richness is enveloped in soft tannins and supple texture. Full, silky and round, Costamiole commands rich meat fare, such as game, wild
boar, veal or beef in trule or mushrooms based sauces, and rich cheeses.
A 100% single-vineyard Barbera grown in the Costamiole parcel near the town of Asti, in Piedmont. The vineyard’s soils are clayey and calcareous and beneit from south-
ern exposure. The grapes are harvested in late September. This high-end Barbera is barrel fermented and is also matured in barrique for 12 months.

Concentrated and dense, Perlato del Bosco is brilliant ruby red in color with dark hues. This gorgeous wine ofers supple aromas of blackberry, cherry liqueur, currants, ripe plums, incense and leather. Perlato del Bosco is dense, full-bodied and spicy on the palate with mellow tannins and a persistent note of licorice on the inish. Recommend-
ed with roast beef, rich pastas, steaks, sausages and aged cheeses.
A blend of 70% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Syrah from the Perlato del Bosco vineyard. The grapes are harvested between late September and early October. After a gentle pressing, the must is macerated with the skins for 15 to 18 days. The cap is manually punched down daily for greater color and lavor extraction. The wine is aged for 20 months in oak barrels, and reined six months in the bottle before release.
